Flap Clock 3000 for webOS
A flip clock you'll have loads of fun with, especially if you're fidgety like me, or just like flip clocks, like me.
Displays 12- or 24-hour time depending on your Date & Time settings. At your option, can hide the seconds and the date. Adapts to your device's screen orientation. The ticking sound can optionally be disabled; its volume is controlled by the standard system sounds volume in your Sounds & Ringtones settings.
Drag the numbers to change the time, then shake or use the back gesture to reset back to regular time. This fidgety feature was influenced by FlipTime XL, an app by omletworks available for iOS devices. You can disable this feature from Preferences as well.
By default, this application keeps the screen on while it is active.

Availability
Flap Clock 3000 is available on Palm’s App Catalog. There are two editions:
- The free edition
- The paid edition for USD 3.00, if you want to support the author. You may or may not get features beyond the free edition at any time, but that's not the point; the point is, you love me enough to send three bucks my way. :-)
Have fun, and thanks!
Regarding User Reviews
I will be checking the reviews every once in a while and posting comments on requested features here. Check back occasionally!
Ticking independent of System Sounds?
Since Flap Clock 3000 is an SDK application using web-based technologies, the System Sounds API is the only one that offers sufficiently low-latency audio.
Add alarm functionality?
Honestly, I use Palm's built-in clock for that. It does the job well, and should you decide to uninstall Flap Clock 3000, you'll still have your alarms.
